Three Rivers has a Lib Dem MP!

December 20, 2019 4:42 PM

Daisy Cooper MP

Congratulations to Daisy Cooper, the first ever Liberal Democrat MP for St Albans! She gained St Albans from Conservative Anne Main, winning over 50% of the vote with an 11% swing.

Three Rivers District Council covers parts of three constituencies - South West Herts, Watford, and St Albans meaning we now have our first Three Rivers Lib Dem MP!

We look forward to working closely with her and her team in St Albans. This confirms that only the Liberal Democrats can beat the Conservatives around here and stand up for liberal values of environmentalism, openness, and internationalism.
